What are FamilyFlex™ Plans?Fresh Start's FamilyFlex™ plans allow you the option to rotate between family cars, SUVs, trucks and ATVs at your discretion. With a family plan, you have year-round access to car care at the convenience of your own driveway. You may browse plans on our website to see which option best fits your car and family needs. We also offer extended care service to our plan members, which currently includes windshield blades, fluid top off, tire pressure fill, and car sales assistance.

How are you different than a car wash?One way we're different than a car wash is that you only need one plan to care for your entire family fleet. With a FamilyFlex™ membership, you're free to swap between cars, SUVs, and trucks at your discretion. No need for multiple car wash memberships that limit you to only one car. Another way we're different than a car wash is that we come to you. We find that busy families enjoy the convenience of a service that can be performed in your own driveway. We also use tools you cannot find at a car wash such as an air compressor and steam cleaner. While you can expect a higher level service than you would typically receive at a car wash, we work in improvement and not perfection. We ask that you have reasonable expectations in light of the weather and time variables we contend with.

Do you offer one-time services?We currently do not offer one-time services. In order to properly care for our clients cars, we recommend a quarterly interior or full plan that allows us to maintain a high level of service on your family vehicles in the most efficient time frame possible. As a quarterly clean club member, you'll have access to our top notch detailing services as well as our growing automotive care platform such as windshield blades and tire pressure fills. Serving our clients on a regular basis also gives us a chance to understand your preferences so we can incorporate them into your plan.

How does billing work?Your credit card will be charged on the first day of your plan, and subsequently at each plan renewal date. So for example, if you're on a quarterly plan, you'll be charged on your start date, and each 3 months thereafter. A professional invoice will be automatically delivered to your email at every billing cycle with plan details and instructions on how to book your appointment.

How does scheduling work?Once you sign up for a plan, you'll be able to schedule your first appointment. For future sessions, once your plan renews each time, you'll receive a text link to schedule your service! From here, you can simply book online. Be sure to be logged into the Fresh Start website with the correct account and choose the appointment type that corresponds with your plan.

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?We will typically detail in any weather above 38° F degrees without heavy wind, rain or snow. We anticipate about 260 plus detailing days per year, so rest assured we will find the time to navigate any weather challenges we may face. We will reach out within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time if a reschedule is needed.

Do I need to empty my car before the session?Simply remove any personal belongings from your car and we'll take care of the rest. If any personal items are left in the vehicle, we will either work around them or place them in the trunk or underneath the passenger's seat. Typically, we do not clean center consoles or glove compartments unless items have been moved in advance.

Should I tip my detailer?Tipping is appreciated for excellent quality service and attention to your vehicle; however, this is at your discretion, and we recommend tipping to your heart's content :). 100% of any tip goes directly to the detailer.

Can I change or cancel my plan?Yes, you can self-manage your account using our easy online platform. There are no cancellation fees. Any modifications must be made prior to your plan automatically renewing. We are not able to offer pauses or skips on your plan.

What kind of upgrades do you have available?Common upgrades you can take advantage of are showroom wheels, leather conditioning, steam cleaning, Meguair's™ wax, and leather and windshield Fresh Start Coatings.™ Additionally, you can purchase more time if you would like extra cleaning at your appointment. Upgrades are subject to scheduling availability and an extra charge.

Do you have a guarantee?We want you to be happy with the service. You can expect a quality clean every time we come to your home; however, please understand results will vary depending on your car size and condition. If you have specific areas of your car that are important to you, please let us know in advance so we can make sure to meet your expectations.

How often would you recommend getting my car cleaned?We find that quarterly intervals best allows us to care for your family fleet.

Are you insured?We are fully insured in the rare chance of an accident occurring while we are cleaning your car.

Do you clean the wheels and rims?If you have a Full FamilyFlex™ plan, we will power wash your wheels and apply tire conditioning (i.e. "tire shine"). If you would like the wheel spokes or brake dust meticulously cleaned, this is part of the showroom wheels packages and requires an upgrade.

Can I purchase a monthly plan?We find that the best schedule is typically quarterly. Unless you're really on top of scheduling, the months come around quickly. That said, if would like to sign up for monthly service, please use the contact form and we can arrange for that.

How long will it take?Interior cleanings take about 45 minutes. It may be a little less or a little more depending on the size and condition of your car. Full service is up to 90 minutes. If time permits, we can add on upgrades or a la carte services per your request.

How do I login to your website to review my account?You can login to our website by navigating to the account login section on the mobile quick access bar [the 3 little dots in the bottom right hand corner], or at the top left of our desktop homepage. We suggest using Google or Facebook assisted login for easy access to your account.

Do you supply your own water and power?Yes, we supply our own water and power onboard our detailing van. We don't need to plug into any electrical outlets or use your hose.

Do I need to be present to get my car or SUV/Truck cleaned?We request you be present at the beginning of your first session so we may learn about any special requests or preferences you may have. For any following appointments, your presence is not required.

How do I let the technician access my car?You can either meet your technician outside your home or remote unlock your car from wherever you are.
